In 2018 I founded this women in tech community with the goal of concentrating the female tech force in Uruguay, reaching out to our peers, talking face to face with the IT woman. Understand her from her role as mother, head of household, a woman who projects herself and who started from below, or who has perceived gender inequity in the field.
I founded LFD in 2019 because I want to see more Latin female referents in design, I know that many have gone far and others are working very hard, that's why I want to create a space in which we creative Latinas are protagonists and we can share our experiences in the industry.
The goal of Latin Female Designers is to gather stories of creative Latin women, to understand what it means to be a Latin woman in the Design industry from the perspective of each role.
